You can listen or read to begin …

This course has been recorded for hands-free easy listening, or you can read the content below. Please complete each stage before proceeding to the next. Repeating any stage is encouraged if you feel the need to.

Part 5, Step 1 – Dream Talking Meditation 3

This part of the Dream Talking course is where we continue the meditation style exercises. This next exercise has been carefully designed to strengthen and reinforce the link we have established from your subconscious mind to you waking conscious state.

This is the 3rd of 4 guided meditation exercises in the Dream Talking course.

The audio programs use relaxing binaural tones in the background to help balance your brain activity, and slow down and relax your conscious state.

To get the most of our these meditation exercises, as with all of the meditations available from the Elonias Foundation, they are best listened to with headphones or earphones to ensure the tones and music are heard the way they are intended.

Please note:

  • Just like in the earlier parts of this program, the last step of this part is also to record your dreams over consecutive 2 nights. Before that, however, we will do a special additional exercise – one designed to thread the experience you are about to have in the mediation exercise, into your deeper mind to further empower your subconscious connection and your intention to remember your dreams
  • So, following the audio meditation exercise, and before you go to bed, prepare for both steps 2 and 3 by downloading and printing the PDFs. You can save them, or print them out and have them ready. As I mentioned in the introduction, you can use a personal notepad or diary. For the dream journal, you can even use a voice recorder
  • So for now, proceed with the meditation and then make your way to Step 2. And remember, step 2 must be completed before you go to sleep, and is best done whilst you are sitting up in bed, ready to complete the exercise and just turn over and go to sleep

Now, find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed, relax and start Meditation 3 of the Dream Talking program

1. Recommendations before you begin…

2. Write the questions and answers in a Notebook or Personal Journal

You will use these document throughout this course for activities, personal reflections, dream symbology, questions & answers. Hint: hand-written Q&As will give you the best results (learn why soon),

2. Write about how you FEEL

No matter how strange it seems, ALL dream componentes have context, meaning and reason. How it feels is the MOST important thing of all. For example, if you see a “Mountain” and it feels “happy” then write it down. There is always a meaning in feelings which is why the mind is dreaming it, and showing it to you!

Recommended items and course suggestions so you can get the best results from this course…

  • Something to write on. This should be a notepad and pen. When we write with a pen or pencil we engage the brain in ways typing and touching a screen do not. However, use of a phone, tablet, computer or other device can still be used.
  • Before you sleep. It is also highly recommended to write in a journal or diary before going to sleep; this allows you to sort your feelings and empty your mind of thoughts from the day. Just as in the Dream Talking program, working with yourself often creates a greater connection inwardly and can enhance dream clarity.
  • A Personal Journal or Notepad. The activities in this course are best completed when hand-written. If possible, record on your preferred written format. If you are not able to write or journal you can make notes on your digital device just as easily.
  • Note 1: It is strongly recommended to turn off as many distractions as possible when completing this program, such as music or television (and even your phone if you are not using it to read the course notes).
  • Note 2: It is strongly recommended to avoid using all device or screen technology at least 30 mins before going to bed. This allows your brain to relax and prepare for sleep.

Download or View

  • This PDF contains space for journalling, recording dreams and also activity sheets for later parts of this course

  • You can still use your own journal (this is just to make it easier if you don’t have one)

  • You can view the PDF activity sheets on-screen or you can print them out

Part 5, Steps 2 & 3

Affirmation & Journal

The Bridge to your Consciousness

You can listen or read to begin …

This course has been recorded for hands-free easy listening, or you can read the content below. Please complete each stage before proceeding to the next. Repeating any stage is encouraged if you feel the need to.

Part 3, Step 2 – Dream Journal

When you have completed the meditation and you are ready to prepare for Steps 2 and 3, print (preferably) the sections for Part 5 of this course from the Dream Talking Activity Document

  • ‘Bridge of Consciousness Affirmation’
  • ‘Dream Journal’

Make sure that when you are ready to go to bed for the night you have the exercise pages, a pen, and something to write on, close by.

‘Bridge of Consciousness Affirmation’ exercise:

  • You will need to hand write on the printed sheets
  • This exercise is best done whilst you are sitting up in bed, ready to complete the exercise and just turn over and go to sleep when you are done

Now, I want you to remember something …

  • You will recall in the mediation experience you have just completed, you picked up a gold medallion and placed it in your pocket
  • On that medallion was an image that represents the bridge you created from your conscious to your subconscious mind
  • In this exercise, you will need to use the image you saw of the bridge on the medallion
  • When you are asked to draw the symbol of the bridge, simply draw the bridge symbol as best you can. It does not matter how you draw, it only matters that you place the image on the paper three times by your own hand
  • This is a simple but important exercise, so just relax and enjoy the experience  as you open up the window to your deeper mind and enter into a deep, interesting and peaceful night’s sleep

Now, get a good night’s sleep!

…..

‘Dream Journal’ exercise:

Step 3 is just like the Dream Journal recordings from the previous parts of the program – to record your dreams over the next 2 consecutive nights.

  • As a reminder, it is recommended you try and get a regular night’s sleep for 2 consecutive nights
  • To get the most out of the exercise, don’t go to bed too late
  • You want to get to bed as early as you feel is practical to allow you body to fall into its circadian rhythm – this is, it’s natural cycles of rest, dream REM sleep, and regeneration

I strongly encourage you to handwrite or record your voice.

  • When we handwrite we activate the brain in a fashion that helps the energy and thought process flow more naturally. Typing digitally does not. You can also use a personal notepad or diary, or preferably even a voice recorder
  • You will notice on the PDF Dream Journal pages there is a check box for Night 1 or Night 2. That way your results will be clear for when you review them at another time. Just tick the right one, and you are on your way. This exercise runs over 2 consecutive nights to allow you give your mind and body to harmonise more effectively so you have the best conditions to remember your dreams
