This Part has 10 questions. Take your time and be relaxed, and start to think about how your behaviour may be a form of self-programming.
It is human nature, and a matter of survival at times, to do what works for us. But what happens when our own behaviour forms patterns and cyclic circumstances that end up self-programming our subconscious and conscious life with the sameness?
Have you ever wondered why events, people and experiences keep re-occurring? Whilst it is true we live in world of thought, memory and magnetic energy, you are in fact also constantly accepting and reinforcing your own behaviour. We have covered the Secret Self already in Part 3 of this program – hidden thoughts and feelings often interact with our ego self to form patterns of behaviour that often help us create the same response or avoid situations entirely.
Your self-programming is underneath all of your behaviour, and any cycles of sameness you experience will be repeating the same self-view, self-beliefs, fears and self-identity. By investigating your own self-programming in this part of the program you will be able to identify the key thought patterns behind the cycle of your life. Personal barriers, fear of change and your own personal views on whether you can fulfil your goals – all of these form a self-programming monologue and behavioural pattern that plays itself out in your life.
Is it possible to live a life without your current self-programming? Yes! That is why we are here! There is a new freedom that awaits when you can de-program your ego self, find a sense of balance and harmony within you and reduce imagery altogether so what is hidden comes into the light and happiness and success prevails. Recommended items and course suggestions so you can get the best results from this course…
- Something to write on. This should be a notepad and pen. When we write with a pen or pencil we engage the brain in ways typing and touching a screen do not. However, use of a phone, tablet, computer or other device can still be used.
- Before you sleep. It is also highly recommended to write in a journal or diary before going to sleep; this allows you to sort your feelings and empty your mind of thoughts from the day. Just as in the Dream Talking program, working with yourself often creates a greater connection inwardly and can enhance dream clarity.
- A Personal Journal or Notepad. This is not essential, however the activities in this course are best completed when hand-written. If possible, record on your preferred written format. If you are not able to write on the PDF activity sheets or in a journal or notepad, you can make notes on your digital device just as easily.
- Activity Sheet. If you use the PDF provided, you will need to print out a separate sheet for each question.
- Note 1: It is strongly recommended to turn off as many distractions as possible when completing this program, such as music or television (and even your phone if you are not using it to read the course notes).
- Note 2: It is strongly recommended to avoid using all device or screen technology at least 30 mins before going to bed. This allows your brain to relax and prepare for sleep.
